Schwab Law is a family law practice serving Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta. We handle divorce, custody, support, and mediation — and we do not take matters outside that lane.
The firm was founded on a straightforward premise: families in transition are poorly served by volume practices. When a lawyer carries a hundred active files, the client with the quiet, complicated case gets the least attention. We keep our caseload small enough that every matter receives real thought.
What working with us looks like
Your first meeting is a working session, not a sales pitch. We ask about the household, the finances, and what you want the next two years to look like. You leave with an honest assessment of your position — including the weaknesses.
From there, you receive a written plan: the likely path, the realistic timeline, the decision points ahead, and what each stage is likely to cost. If mediation is a better option than litigation, we will tell you so, even though litigation bills more.
Our approach to conflict
Some matters need to be tried. Most do not. We are prepared to go to court and do so when a client's position requires it — but we do not manufacture conflict to justify a fee. A settlement that both households can actually live with is usually worth more than a judgment that one side spends years resisting.
Communication
You get your attorney's direct line. Calls are returned within one business day. When something changes in your matter, you hear it from us before you hear it anywhere else.
