Process

You should not have to project-manage your own website.

Your billable hours are worth more than chasing a designer for updates. Here is the whole docket in the open: every phase, the one thing we need from you at each step, and an honest window for how long it takes. If a stage is going to slip, you hear it from us first.

01About 1 minute

Quote

You answer seven questions about your firm — practice areas, number of attorneys, locations, and what you need the site to do. The tool prices the build in real time and emails you a copy. No sales call required to find out what it costs.

What we need from you: nothing but the seven answers.

02Day 1

Onboarding questionnaire

Once you move forward, you get a single onboarding form covering the details that shape the build: firm name, attorney bios and credentials, the practice areas you want featured, the areas you serve, any existing brand assets, and what a good outcome looks like for you in six months.

It takes about ten minutes. If you do not have everything ready, send what you have — we fill the gaps together rather than stalling the project.

What we need from you: the completed form, plus your logo and any photography you own.

03Days 2–4

Architecture and content map

Before anything is designed, we map the site: which pages exist, how they link to each other, and which search questions each one answers. Practice areas get individual pages. Attorney bios get real estate. Supporting content is planned so the site has depth rather than five thin pages.

You approve the map before we build. This is the stage where changes are cheap, and it is the difference between a site that ranks and a brochure.

What we need from you: a quick review and a yes.

04Days 5–12

Design and build

We design and code the site at the same time, in the browser, rather than handing you a flat picture that later turns out not to work on a phone. You see a real, working staging site — not a PDF.

Everything is written in custom code: no page builder, no template license, no plugin sprawl. Accessibility, performance, and schema markup are built in as we go, not bolted on at the end.

What we need from you: one round of consolidated feedback on the staging link.

05Days 13–16

Content and revisions

We write or refine the page copy so each page answers a genuine client question in plain language, with the direct answer near the top — the structure that both search engines and AI assistants favor. Your bios are written to establish credibility rather than recite a résumé.

You review, we revise. We work from a single consolidated list of changes rather than a scattered email thread, which is what keeps this stage from dragging.

What we need from you: factual review — dates, admissions, case results, anything only you can confirm.

06Launch day

Launch

We handle the technical side: DNS, SSL, redirects from your old URLs so you do not lose whatever ranking you already have, analytics, Search Console, and sitemap submission. Your monthly care plan starts the day the site goes live — not the day you paid.

What we need from you: domain access, or an introduction to whoever holds it.

07Ongoing

Care, and growth if you want it

The care plan covers hosting, security, backups, updates, uptime monitoring, and small content changes — the maintenance that keeps a site fast and safe rather than slowly rotting. If you add the SEO and AI-search program, we also publish ongoing content, build internal linking, and report on what is actually moving.

What we need from you: send changes whenever you have them.

So how long, really?

Most builds launch in roughly two to four weeks. The single biggest variable is not us — it is how quickly the onboarding form and content review come back. Firms that turn those around in a couple of days launch quickly; firms that sit on them for three weeks do not.

We will tell you honestly if your timeline is unrealistic rather than promising a date we cannot hold.

What firms ask before they start

Do I need to write the content myself?

No. We write it, then you review it for factual accuracy — admissions, results, anything only the firm can confirm. If you would rather write it yourself, that works too.

What if I already have a website?

We migrate what is worth keeping and redirect the old URLs so you do not lose existing search visibility. Losing rankings in a redesign is avoidable, and it happens mostly when nobody plans the redirects.

How many rounds of revisions do I get?

We work from a consolidated feedback list at two stages — after the build and after the content pass. In practice most projects are settled within those two rounds; we are not going to nickel-and-dime you over a reasonable extra change.

Who owns the site when it is finished?

You do — the code, the content, and the domain. There is no proprietary platform holding your site hostage if you decide to work with someone else later.

Can I make edits myself afterward?

Yes. The site is built on WordPress, and we show you how to handle everyday edits. Anything you would rather not touch, send to us under the care plan.

Will this guarantee me top Google rankings?

No, and be skeptical of anyone who promises that. We build the technical foundation, structure, and content that rankings are earned with — but nobody controls Google's results.
