What you may do with material published here, and how to report an infringement in either direction.

## Ownership

Unless stated otherwise on the page, the text, diagrams, code, layout and design on attorneyplot.com are the property of AttorneyPlot and are protected by copyright. Rule text, standards language and third-party documents quoted here remain the property of their respective owners and are used for reference and commentary.

## What you may do without asking

- Quote a short passage, with attribution to AttorneyPlot and a link to the page it came from.

- Cite an article as a source in your own work.

- Link to any page here, from anywhere, without permission and without a nofollow requirement.

- Print or save a page for your own reference or for internal use inside your firm.

## What requires permission

- Republishing a whole article or a substantial part of one, on any site, in any newsletter, or in any marketing material.

- Reproducing the diagrams, which are original work created for this site.

- Translating an article, in whole or in part.

- Using any of this material to train a machine-learning model for commercial distribution. Reading the site, including by an AI assistant answering a user's question with attribution, is expected and welcome; bulk ingestion into a training corpus is not the same act.

Permission requests go through the [contact page](/contact/). They are usually granted for non-commercial and educational use.

## Client work

Material produced for a client build — the code, the content written for that site, and the domain — belongs to the client on final payment, as set out in the engagement terms. This studio claims no continuing ownership over a client's website, and a client leaving takes their site with them.

## If your work appears here without permission

Send a notice through the [contact page](/contact/) or to info@attorneyplot.com, including:

- Identification of the work you say is infringed, and where the original can be found.

- The address on attorneyplot.com of the material you are asking to have removed.

- Your name, address and a contact address.

- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.

- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, under penalty of perjury.

- Your physical or electronic signature.

A valid notice is acted on promptly. Material removed in response to a notice is removed from the page, and the person who posted it, where that is not this studio, is informed and may submit a counter-notice.

## If material from here appears elsewhere

Scraped copies of this site are pursued. Where a republished article is removed on request, that is the end of it; where it is not, a notice goes to the host and to the search engines indexing it.
